Toe Nail Reconstruction

Many men and women suffer fom unsightly toe nails and are embarrassed by their feet. In order to hide them from friends and family they often wear a full shoe, socks or paint over the damage to disguise it, often making it worse in the process. These types of nail may be fungal, misshapen or permanently damaged.

LCN Wilde-Pedique is a gel Nail Reconstruction system designed specifically for toenails. It adapts to the movements of the toe due to its extreme elasticity. The gel sets when exposed to ultraviolet light. It’s unique adhesive properties mean that good results can be achieved, even on calloused layers of skin where a toenail may be missing. The gel resin has the ability to add strength and harden with a glossy finish.

The Wilde Pedique gel once applied and cured will essentially look like and cut like a regular toe nail. It is an ideal solution for those clients who are looking for a cosmetically pleasing look and at the same helping stopping the snagging of the nail and possible infection. The nail can be filed and painted as normal. If the varnish is taken off with nail varnish remover the nail is not stained and returns to its natural appearance.

There is no discolouration: After approximately 2 minutes under a UVA light the material is completely set and will not alter. It will not damage the natural nail or hinder natural nail growth. The gel is not porous so neither moisture or air can penetrate and therefore fungal nails can be covered with the gels helping prevention of further spread or development of infection. With cracked or split nails LCN gels helps further damage by covering the crack/split, preventing further snagging
